Background:

The idea for Stagweber International started in 2010 with the Weber twin-choke carburettor conversion. The originator, Chris Spain, a retired Professional Electrical Engineer (MIEE), wanted to continue to apply his mind as an engineering designer, and having worked on a Weber 38DGAS on a 3.0 litre Ford V6 engine based project, he decided to design and manufacture a kit to fit the Stag V8 engine. Following success of this project, and others like the header tank, fuse box and fan cowl he has coninued working to develop other enhancements, most of which are featured on this website.

Products

Our products are designed and tested to fit and work on a standard UK home market (right hand drive) car.  Although they may fit and work on export models, we cannot guarantee this. Please check the individual product descriptions for further information. If your car has other modifications which interfere with the installation or working of our products, we obviously cannot advise on this as we do not have the opportunity to carry out the necessary test and checks.

Quality Assurance:

We work hard to ensure that our products meet the highest standard. Where possible, the type of products we supply are tested, installed and run continuously on our own Triumph Stag.  So far we have had a very positive experience with them, and they continue to make owning our stag very enjoyable.  Our special products are manufactured locally in England, and we take great care to make sure the parts are all fit for purpose.  As a consequence we have every confidence that the products you receive will be of good quality.  We operate a policy of continuous improvement, so we regularly review our designs, and update them where necessary.

Packing and Delivery:

Because we are a small business, processing orders may take a few days longer than expected. Our store may occasionally close without notice due to holidays or other reasons.

Orders received by 12pm the previous day are normally processed in the morning on our working days (as shown on our home page).

Postal services we use vary from Royal Mail 1st class to Courier (typically 2 to 3 days within the UK, 5 days worldwide), and usually require a signature on receipt, but please ensure that any package damage is recorded on the delivery documents when you sign. Sorry we cannot specify arrival dates.  Our couriers will make reasonable attempts to deliver and get a signature, however if the courier is unable to deliver and returns it, the purchaser will be responsible for any cost of redelivery.  For more urgent orders please contact us first to see if we can help.  We always try to keep postage and packing costs to a minimum and, if you ask us, we will gladly pass those savings on to you, for example by combining packages.  Please check packages and make sure any damage is reported immediately, and recorded with the delivery person.

Order progress and Tracking: Our online shop does not provide any order progress information. If your order does not arrive soon after the date expected, please contact us by email for a progess report, tracking reference etc.  To calculate your expected delivery date, choose the first order processing day after your order, then add 5 working days for UK delivery, or up to 14 days for worldwide delivery.

Cancellation and Returns:

After you have received your item, in the unlikely event that you decide to change your mind about the purchase, please contact us as soon as possible so we can explain the returns process and criteria.  You have a right to cancel and return goods within 14 days provided they are unused, and returned as originally packed.

If you have an item which you believe is faulty, please contact us to discuss before returning it to avoid unnecessary expense or delay.  We may offer help with any problems you may encounter, but please note that we are not responsible for any diagnosis.  Deliveries to us: We cannot accept responsibility for deliveries to us outside office hours unless pre-arranged, and confirmed by email.

We guarantee that if our product is faulty, we will replace or repair it free of charge. However, if a product is returned but found to be good, a reasonable charge may be made at our discretion for testing and/or return postage.  We do not give refunds for used goods that are returned.
